Sending high risk or fragile goods via Pallet

Secure all high value goods in accordance with the guidelines

Sending high value expensive items by pallet is an excellent and cost-effective way to transport your items. However, there are some things that you need to be aware of before you commit to sending. Packaging your goods securely is essential if you wish to avoid the risks associated with sending these items. You need to be sure that your items are securely packaged before you add them to the pallet, and fixed safely to the pallet itself.

The following items will not be insured for loss or damage if you choose to send them via pallet. If you do ship these items, it is entirely at your own risk and if confiscated by Customs, they may not be returned.

  • Computers, laptops, tablets, monitors and screens, etc.
  • Televisions, LCD screens, plasma screens, projectors, digital displays, etc
  • Glass or any item that contains glass in part e.g. Iphones, or Android phones
  • Cash, credit cards, debit cards
  • Passports, birth and death certificates or other unique documentation
  • Keys and other negotiable items of monetary or personal value
  • Articles of exceptional value (works of art, precious stones, gold and silver)
  • Antiques high in value must be sent using a special service only

We also recommend that expensive items that are attractive to thieves, are camouflaged in their packaging or a plain packaging placed around them, to detract attention away and give no clues as to the contents.

Generally, most other things are fine to be sent by pallet delivery, but if in doubt please contact us and we will be happy to explain your options and costs. If you are unsure whether to send your items, please email us on and we will be happy to help.
